We all love a personalized message. So why not engage with your customers in your transactional emails?

Creative copy is an excellent way to make your emails stand out from the crowd. Adding in {{ billing_address.first_name }} to your Shopify notification emails will populate the customer's first name. This is a fantastic way to grab your customers' attention and will make them feel even more special. 

We already create unique discount codes with your customer's first name, however adding this in your email subject line and recommended products will help boost customer engagement.

{{ billing_address.first_name }} can only be used in your Shopify notification emails. These are the 27 transactional emails you send through Shopify. If you want to add your customer's first name to your Spently auto follow-up emails, use %recipient.first%.
